Terms of Service

These Terms are general informational terms for a small creator software service and are not legal advice.

Last updated: May 13, 2026

1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Keyframe's website, iOS application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service.

You are responsible for maintaining account security and for activities that occur under your account.

3. Accepted Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable platform rules and third-party rights.

You must not upload or submit content you do not have rights to use, attempt to interfere with system security, reverse engineer the Service (except where prohibited by law), or use the Service to create or distribute unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive material.

4. User Content and Rights

You retain ownership of videos, audio, text, links, and other material you provide ("User Content").

You grant Keyframe a limited license to host, process, transform, and display User Content solely to operate and improve the Service, including generating clips and captions at your direction.

You represent that you have all rights needed for your User Content and that use of your User Content through the Service does not violate law or third-party rights.

5. AI-Generated Clips and Output

The Service may generate clips, suggested highlights, captions, and related outputs using automated and AI-assisted systems.

AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate and may require your review before publication or business use. You are responsible for final review, editing decisions, and downstream distribution.

Keyframe does not guarantee reach, engagement, monetization, legal compliance of output, or uninterrupted model performance.

6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payments

Some features may require a paid plan, credits, or subscription. Pricing and feature limits may change over time.

If you subscribe through Apple, billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled by Apple under your App Store account settings and Apple terms.

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable after billing periods begin.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or rely on third-party platforms and infrastructure, including YouTube links, hosting providers, analytics tools, and payment processors.

Keyframe is not responsible for third-party service availability, policies, or content. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms.

8. App Store Terms

If you access Keyframe via iOS, you also acknowledge Apple is not responsible for the Service itself and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.

You agree to comply with applicable App Store terms and any usage rules imposed by Apple.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, branding, and design elements (excluding your User Content), is owned by Keyframe or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

No rights are granted except as expressly provided in these Terms.

10. Suspension and Termination

Keyframe may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe there is misuse, legal risk, security risk, or non-compliance with these Terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Keyframe disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keyframe will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keyframe's aggregate liability for claims related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the Service during the 12 months before the claim arose.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Keyframe from claims, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your User Content, misuse of the Service, or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Changes to the Service or Terms

Keyframe may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted unless otherwise stated.

Your continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer law requires otherwise.
